i would love to win this competition as i am a very busy mummy of 4 beautiful children and as many would know who have any children, our precious ones can leave us near to no time for ourselves, i would use this as a opportunity to have some beautiful pics of myself done as a gift for my fiancé and myself for the future! it would be so nice to be able to look back at myself whilst still youthful and at what i believe is the happiest ive ever been!
thankyou in advance for this opportunity even if i dont win my partner and i have already chosen you as our wedding photographer for 2 years time!!

Hi, I would love to nominate my mother in law - she is such a huge blessing to my husband and I, the best inlaw I could possibly have and constantly puts her plans aside to look after my children or help us out. I have my own business from home and aften have appts etc and I wouldn’t be able to do what I do without her support and watching the kids while I run around.
I would use the photo shoot to get some pics of her with her 3 grandchildren because they are so special to her and she hasn’t got a photo with all 3 (youngest is 8 weeks old)
Thank you for the opportunity to enter

My Mum is a mum of a budding photographer (me), however I would love to treat her to a proper photo shoot with her grand kids (2 boys, 4 and 2yo). In the last 3 years she has had 3 Basal Cell Carsinomas removed from her tiny nose, and the latest doing the most damage. As you can imagine, she is extremely self conscious, particularly of her face, and with me, from being far from sufficient and consitant with photoshop, would LOVE her to have some beautiful photos with her “boys” before they grow up.

My mum hates having her photo taken and as a result we have very few photos of her! Now that I’m a mum I have a whole new appreciation of what sacrifices she made for us growing up and what she’s been through. I would love to have a beautiful photo of the two of us together. She’s not just my mum, she’s my best friend, and I hope I have the same relationship with my daughters when they grow up.

I would love to be able to have some nice photos of my mum and son together for some special memories. We don’t get to see my mum very often, so I think this would be lovely.

my mum grew up without a mum, she was stolen by her father when she was 8-9years old and bought over to WA and had her name changed. Her mother never knew where she went. She didnt find her mum until she was 40 years old. Despite the abuse she endured thoughout her childhood, she managed to become a loving and caring mother. She could have quite easily chosen the wrong path.

I would love to nominate a very special Mum who has been a wonderful friend, mentor and Stand-in-Mum to our family while we lived in WA. She always opened her home to us and was a great support to both My Husband and I while we struggled through PND. I would love to see her take some time for herself and be infront of the camera for once LOL, she’s always too busy to capture!!

I’d like to nominate a friend. Fiona is mum to 3 beautiful children, one of whom is in her last stages of her battle with cancer.

Immie is six and she is dying, Fiona has been strong, graceful and right there beside Immie right from the start.

Fiona has been a huge support to other parents on the children’s oncology ward, her smile never leaves her face and she can brighten the worst day.

In short, this lady is amazing, and deserves something given back.

i would love to nominate my mum for this fantasic prize, my mum helps me out sooo much as my hubby works away she is always putting her hand up to help out with the kids to give me 5 mins break, so to give her 5mins break this prize would be amazing, it would be awesome to get some photo’s of her and her 2 grandaughts who i know are her world. She is a very special mum and grandmother :)

    Hi,
I would Like to nominate a very dear friend of mine. She is a mum of 6 and has had no time to just relax and enjoy the family for a very long time!
She has recently had a health scare and is now going thorugh test after test to see what is wrong, she has also recently had a few so called friends hurt her deeply and is struggling to cope with all this on top of the hassle that a young family of 6 brings. She lost her mum just over a year ago and stills struggles with this.
I would love her to be able to forget it all for just a day and sit back and get some cherished memories taken to put the spark back in her eye.
    Thanks

  14. Collene (Another one!)

I’d like to nominate my mum. When my daughter was born 12 weeks premature it was mum who brought me clean clothes every day and took away the others to be washed. She spoke to me of bravery and courage and stamina and positivity when there was very little to be found. When we went though a long (years and years!) and difficult adoption process for our second child she provided endless hours of babysitting to enable us to attend the required seminars, interviews, assessments and took it upon herself to become educated in the ways of modern adoption to support us.

I would like to nominate my mother… she has always been a tower of strength for me to lean on … I had heart complications and numerous surgeries growing up… she was there… I had long risky labours (could not have caesars due to blood clotting issues) and she was there… I have had blood poisoning and she was there… and after a marrying a man in the navy I dont live nearby anymore and only see her when we visit and holiday or when I have a baby (LOL) I would love some beautiful photos to treasure forever, with me and her grandsons… she helped deliver… Love you mum

I would like to nominate my friend Belinda who lives in Perth. She is a 27 year old Mum with 3 kids under the age of 5 and is also a Mumpreneur( Entrepreneur who runs a business from home while juggling a family). She only started her business in January and just blows me away with her insight, drive and passion. I am almost 40 and had a great career before having my kids yet here I am being taught amazing lessons everyday by this young Mum who has devoted herself to her husband and then her children since the age of 20. She never does anything for herself as it’s always for everyone else so this would make her realise that she is such an inspiration and that I am truly blessed to have her in my life.

    Hi Kaylene:)
I would love to recommend someone who is on both of our friends lists and lives not a million miles away from you.
Not once but twice now she has lost something very precious to her and i fear her faith in life is lost atm, she has little support from family but beautiful friends and i feel a visit from you and your camera would do her the world of good:)
She gives so much to others and her family and yet does little for herself, she needs a pamper day!!!

I have a mum, (most people do)
she also is a grandma too,
She really is a special sort,
mums like that can’t be bought.
She offers support and gives a great cuddle,
helps me out when I get in a muddle,
Always willing to lend an ear,
    babysits without any fear!
She is a woman of many talents,
cooks, crochets and has great balance!
She taught me everything I know,
(she even taught me how to sew),
She showed me patience, and to be kind,
to entertain the kids without losing my mind.
When I grow up I want to be,
Even half the mum she was for me.
She’s happy to give anything a go,
Hopefully that’s enough to win a free photo.
In all this world there is no other,
Quite as fabulous as my mother!

    Love you mum xxxx

I think I have the most wonderful mum because, I have 5 other brothers ans sisters and growing up mum struggled a lot with money etc but always made us feel like we could have and be anything in the world. We struggled a lot but never knew it because mum would give us everything we wanted she worked her butt off which would have been hard as a single mum. I am now a mum myself and can see how hard it is to work and bring up a child let alone 6 children so I really think my mum deserves to win, Thanks Chrissy x

My mother Wendy Morrison of 22A Staehr Street Nuriootpa SA. 08-85622708-0404166473-
My mother is amazing for over 30 years she has volunteerd at primary schools, she started the, Ädopt a grandparent.” where she would take elderly from nursing homes out on picnics and family get togethers, she has cared for many different children over the years and taken them into our home and treated them as one of her own. She has even cared for my own daughter for over 10 years when I was unable to do so. Never once has she asked for anything nor have I ever herd her complain. What make her more special than the rest is that my mother has done all this and continues doing this while going through Cancer twice and many spinal operations due to a car accident. Even in sever pain she has alway put others first. I think it is time that this incrediable angel recieves some reconigition for her wonderous good deeds.
I love you mum you are my world my everything
